What you'll learn

This is going to be a truly extraordinary education!

Pigment powders have a lot of potential, they can be used in so many different ways. In addition to the usual smoke effect, here are 5 ways to get your pigment powders out of the bottom of your shelf. You can change the colour of the pigment powders and the base colours according to the season, so you can use these decorating options almost all year round. The only limit is your creativity, as you can incorporate pigment powder into any painted decoration. You need a sticky surface, so any fixative or surface that can be made sticky is suitable for stamping in these colour-filled, eye-catching powders. But we shouldn't rule out non-fixing materials either, because if you pay attention to the curing time and don't wait for the full drying time, you can get the powder into the surface of that too.

You will learn these during the course
  • smoke effect pattern
  • pigment dusting of a printed pattern
  • printing with foil printing
  • ombre application with pigment powder
